Biography

My hometown had no tradition in symphony orchestras, nor in lyrical scenes.

It was the father, unknown how, a photographer himself and one of the first to work on color photography in Greece, the one who would put on the record player and listen with rapture with my sister, sometimes to Amalia Rodrigues and Maria Kallas and sometimes to Mickey Theodorakis and Carlos Gardel.

Nor were the grandmothers lyrical voices or members of a choir, so that I could explain where the sounds hidden in the back of my mind came from. In fact, I've never heard them sing. They were very busy with life itself.. Asia Minor because she had to cope with being a refugee and Evrytana, because she had to resurrect a home in post-military Greece.

This is how the world was presented to me. A dipole! Sweet and bitter. Pain and pleasure. And life put a torturous pressure on me to take a stand, to become a "follower" of one or the other.

I chose silence.

I chose to work with the soul first.

To take the route that would give answers to the cause of my own desires and to meet art when I can bear the weight of the condensation of life, because that is what I perceive art to be.

When it came time to unlock the secrets of the technique, I chose to do the full cycle of training leading to the classical singing diploma.

I let them teach me, shape me and transform me. I allowed the body to follow the instructions of others, to stretch and contract on command. I found myself outside of it and watched it change, without fear, when it has the soul as its guard.

Along the way, that's what I realized the song is: a hologram of the quality of our soul.

This truth is sought by the one who sings, this truth is also sought by the one who listens.

I am deeply grateful to the people who stood by me, my teachers, the musicians, but also the sound technicians, my production company, my friends and family.

Thank you also for the science I serve in the field of health, for the invaluable social experience and for the constant reminder that man and his needs are the counterweight of all.

I was born in Agrinio, I studied in Thessaloniki, I live and work in Heraklion, Crete.
